Unemployed? Send your Resume to Obama, Employer in Chief

Need a job? Send your resume directly to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Seriously.

In a Google + “hangout” session with the President, Jennifer Wedel of Fort Worth complained that her husband remained out of work despite the fact that he is one of those highly-skilled workers that are supposedly in great demand, according to Obama. Mr. Wedel is a semiconductor engineer. He has been unemployed for three years. The President responded, “That’s interesting.”

Mrs. Wedel asked why foreign workers were getting visas when Americans are desperate for work. The President replied that her husband “should be able to find something right away.” He also asked her to “send me your husband’s resume.”

“I’ll have to take you up on that,” responded Wedel.

Well, there you have it. We can solve the whole unemployment problem by going straight to the top. To all of you out there who can’t find work, to those who have given up looking, this is wonderful news. If you are unemployed, the President will find a job for you. Let’s get those resumes in the mail.

Send your resume to:  President Barack Obama, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C., 20500. Then just wait by the phone.
