GOP Hopefuls Schooled by Trump

Say what you will about The Donald, his use of the bully pulpit would make even Theodore Roosevelt proud.

Following the depressing, anemic presidential campaign of Senator John McCain, in which he seemed afraid to broach the scandalous inexperience and obvious weaknesses of then Senator Obama, the last thing Republicans need is another bunch of timid candidates.

What happened to leadership?  What happened to boldness? Do any of the probable candidates have the courage to take on President Obama?  Donald Trump does, and it is extremely refreshing.

The arrogant elite in the party “pooh-pooh” Trump’s possible candidacy.  Karl Rove, he of  “No Child Left Behind,” maintains that Trump is a clown.  Well, granted, Donald Trump is not a conservative, but neither, I would point out, is Karl Rove.

To Rove, and Krauthammer, and all the naysayers:  Yes, we understand that Donald Trump is not a conservative.  We still like what Trump is saying about Obama.  Trump makes sense.  He gets things done.  He is a leader.  And we are absolutely starving for some leadership right now.

Who else wants to lead?

Republican presidential wannabes had better sit up and take notice.
